Pasman is an island in the Zadar archipelago southeast of the island of Ugljan, separated from it by a narrow strait called Zdrelac. There is the omonimus village and harbour in the central part of the eastern coast of the island. Chief occupations are farming, growing of vines, olives, fruit and vegetables, fishing and tourism. Pasman is located on the regional road running along the entire island. Ferry lines connect Pasman with Biograd na Moru. Pasman was first mentioned in 1067 under the name Postimana. The parish church was erected in the Middle Ages; at the beginning of the 18th century a nave was added to it and the original church was converted into a sanctuary; the bell tower dates back to 1750. The church features two late Gothic processional crucifixes and an altarpiece by C. Medovic. In nearby Mali Pasman is a small mediaeval church of St. Roch.
