Ivan Dolac is the settlement situated on the southern slopes of the island of Hvar, west from Zavala and east from Sveta Nedjelja. It was first mentioned back in the 15th century. The village's main occupations are agriculture and tourism, quite similar to almost all the villages's of this part of the island. Numerous bays with beautiful pebble beaches strech along the southern side of the island. Suplja stina and Lucisce near Sveta Nedjelja, Jagodna, Paklina, Petarcica, are only some of them making Ivan Dolac a very interesting destination, particularly to those wishing a quiet vacation.
