Krvavica is a small village situated in the west part of the Makarska litoral, below the slopes of Biokovo, 6 km to the south da Baska Voda. Archeological localities (Gradina, Lazine, Zakuce) and some archeological findings ( coins, a sarcophagus lid and etc.) talk about the life here dating from the antique period, but not before 18. century the place was populated. Krvavica name was mentioned for the first time in 1792. With the costruction of the omonimus tourist complex with the main building in the specific circular form, starts the tourism in Krvavica in 1960. very close to the sea. Today the village offers the accomodation in modern apartments and private rooms. Also there is a shop in the disposition of the tourists and also hotel facilities. Beside beautifull white pebble beach there is a natural fenomena in Krvavica –Kljuc kuk- a high rock above the village. From the beggining of this century Krvavica has a small harbour.
